The Fintech classrooms have Zoom capability but recording needs to be done by the faculty rather than scheduled centrally through UD Capture.
Follow the instructions below to
- Connect to the camera and microphones
- Share your Screen
- Record your course
Connect to the Camera and Microphones
Plug the USB cable into your laptop


Depending on your device, you may need a USB-C adapter supplied by your IT department
Launch Zoom
Select the Camera for the Room

Camera name contains Room number and CAM300
Choose the Microphones and Speakers with the Name of the Room.

DO NOT choose the audio devices with INOGEN in the name
Use the touchpad to Control the Cameras.

The Camera controls may be on another screen on the iPad. Select the Camera icon to access the controls

Sharing Your Screen
Sharing your screen allows you to choose what is recorded during your Zoom session
This is required even without any remote participants
Choose the Share icon in your Zoom meeting

Select the screen or Application you want to share.
This is the one that will be recorded in your Zoom recording

Recording your Class
When you are ready to begin class, choose the Record option in Zoom
Select Record to the Cloud to automatically save the recording to your My Media folder in Canvas

When the recording is complete, you can follow the instructions below to add your recording to your Canvas course

Unplug your devices
Choose the Power Off option on the iPad
This will power down the TVs and raise any screens
