If you encounter this issue, you are able to get around it by disabling the clipboard feature.

Make sure you are connected to the VPN if you are not connected to eduroam.

  1. Open the Windows App (Microsoft Remote Desktop)
  2. Click on Devices
  3. Click the three dots on the top right of the PC you wish to access.
  4. Click on Edit
    In Windows App, In the devices tab, three dot option window open.
  5. Go to Devices & Audio
  6. In the Clipboard mode selection menu, select Disabled.
  7. Click Save
    in Edit PC window, Devices and Audio settings selected, Clipboard mode set to disabled

After hitting save, you will be able to remote into that PC.
