TaxAct occasionally requires updates before a user can save or print their work. As such, we’ve enabled a procedure by which users can perform these updates themselves.
- Open the TaxAct Folder on the desktop
- Double-click TaxAct Update
- A new window will open to run the updater. This is normal.
- Once the updater is open, click through the prompts by clicking Next
